Assigment 3

A place that influenced me and shaped who I am is the Camp Icaghowan, the summer camp that I was a camper as well as a counselor at. It made me who I am by the importance of community and friendship there at camp. My morals are more focused around family and community and working together without conflict. It's also about setting a good example for people who need examples. For example, this summer was my first year as a counselor and I learned the importance about keeping everyone happy and in harmony, so my cabin would have an awesome week. Now I focus on thinking about what will do people good, and moving on after somethign bad happens. Camp Icaghowan is a second home to me and the people there are my family, in the way that they influence my beliefs.

I rarely feel uncomfortable or out of place, except for one time when i went to a church. It was my friends confirmation and i knew I would have to go see the ceremony at his church. I was really nervous gettnig dressed for the event with the fear that i'd offend someone. When i finally got there, I had this extreme nervousness and uneasiness with the people and the sermon that was going on. It was so ridiculously serious and solemn, and it really didnt mean anything to me and i couldnt understand why it meant so much to the people around me. I was worried to talk and move. I felt so out of place becuase people were so into what was being talked about. I learned that I really dont like churches, they're not the thing for me!!

assigment 2

I agree with Georges comments about peer pressure because what your friends do you usually end up doing. Some people think they have to dress a certain way to have friends, and thats mostly the pressure I've seen. If your really friends with someone, they wont pressure you to do soemthing you dont want to. I'm just saying that there are some poeple who think they have to change but they really don't need to. I have not seen this pressure happen to anyone because I like my friends and they like me and we agree on most of our desisions.
